Many of our customers come to us with only a rough idea of what they want in a home. We are happy to work with you on the design process so that you are completely satisfied with both the design and the price of your new home or addition.
Design with the budget in mind
All too often, people come to us with house plans designed by architects or clipped from magazines and are shocked at the price of building the project. We think it best to design a home with your preferences and your budget in mind. With a keen knowledge of material and labor expenses for different home features, we are able to design with costs in mind. There are lots of ways to design efficiently without sacrificing overall design and livability.
Custom Green Design for You
We are proud to design and build green homes that suit each customer’s needs: from the luxurious to the downright humble, from the conventional to the modern. The one thing all our homes have in common is their custom tailoring. Our number one priority is our client. We are not attached to any particular style, size, or location, nor do we feel bound by convention if it is not necessary or desired. We are proud to design homes that provide our customers with features that they feel are most important at a price they can afford without sacrificing quality or energy efficiency.
Custom Green Homes
One thing we do insist on is energy efficiency. All our homes are Energy Star Certified to save our customers money in the long run and to protect our precious environment. We proudly exceed the requirements for Energy Star on all of our homes.
Using the National Association of Home Builders Green Building Standard as a guide, we work to build homes that at least meet the requirements for a silver and preferably a gold certification under the NAHB’s green rating system. Whether we pay to be officially certified is irrelevant to us as long as we know we are meeting the green standard. We would love to one day build a home that would merit an emerald level certification.
